Different working groups formed to prepare Registration, Fundraising (pledge collection), Land feasibility

2. 2010

AGM & Formation of Society's Executive Committee

Society incorporation with Province of Alberta

Explored few options for Land ( Draper Road , Provincial land lease) etc.

Application for leas ing the land ( Tower Road plot ) to province was submitted.

Recognition from CRA as Charity .

Total pledged members - approx 300 families

Fundraised (events, corporate voluntary programs, individual donations) - approx $50k

Six programs on Religious / Cultural / Social were organized

3.Goals for 2011

Establish temporary rental mandir facility

Continued follow up on Lease land application and explore more commercial lands

Extend Campaign for fundraising to Alberta and other North America regions.

Eight programs on Religious / Cultural / Social to be organized.
